About Focusing

Focusing is a body-oriented process of awareness and compassionate relating that facilitates deep healing, self-discovery and authentic growth.

Focusing is a therapeutic and healing method, a tool for decision making, a pathway for unlocking creativity competence and meaning in life. It helps you move forward from stuck places by enabling you to live from a deeper place beyond surface-level thoughts and feelings, bringing you closer to your authentic self.

"Focusing is based on the very positive expectation of change. It doesn't envision a human being as a fixed structure whose shape can be analysed once and for all. It envisions a person as a process, capable of continual change and forward movement. The 'problems' inside you are only those parts of the process that have been stopped, and the aim of focusing is to unstop them and get the process moving again. When you are focusing correctly, you not only expect change; you create it in the very act of focusing." - Eugene Gendlin

What is Soulful Life?

Soulful practice is being fully engaged with life — a practice of being simultaneously grounded and expanded, attentive, aware, open to surprises and revelations. It involves being fully present with another human being, sensitive to interconnectedness and the unfolding process of life.

Engaging in a Soulful life is embracing life’s mysteries and learning how to listen to the body’s intelligence - the embodied process of life and its implicit meanings and guidance.

Our sensitivities, vulnerabilities and wounds are doorways to Soul. The paradox is that only when we enter their depth, we can find our gifts, inspirations and purpose.
